Description
Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Databases: SQL Server 2016/2017/2019.
● Participate in 24x7 on-call support on a rotation basis.
● Managing SQL Server databases on Cloud platforms as well as in private data centers.
● Proactively monitor production databases for HA/DR, Security and Performance.
● Design and develop complicated SQL Scripts when needed to support our
● various applications.
● Seasoned at fine tuning OS parameters, database instances and queries.
● Automate repetitive tasks using a combination of tools such as PowerShell and
● SQL scripts.
● Provide technical guidance to software developers in data modeling and database code
optimization.

Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in MS SQL database support.
● Experience managing SQL Server databases on Windows.
● Experience in creating, maintaining and troubleshooting SSIS/SSRS packages.
● Experience configuring and managing SQL Server Always-on Availability groups.
● Experience managing databases in private data centers as well as in AWS/Azure Cloud
● Experience with Query and Database Optimization techniques.
● Expertise in writing, reviewing, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex SQL
● queries, stored procedures, views, functions etc.
● Ability to multi-task and work independently on projects.
● Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environments.
● Familiarity with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL is a huge plus.
● Experience managing SQL Server databases on Windows.
