Description
Roles & Responsibility:
Perform structural, thermal simulation of gearbox, transmission products. structural dynamics using both analytical and simulation techniques
Experience in static Linear, Nonlinear, dynamic, Buckling, Fatigue Analysis, HCF/LCF and fracture mechanics, bolted/welded constructions etc.
Knowledge about the structural design of castings, welded structures and forged components
Develop and validate simulation methodology for gearbox drive structural analyzes.
Optimize and improve structural design considering cost, manufacturing, and product constraints.
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to improve structural and thermal simulation methodology.
Automate FEA, CFD workflow process, creation of custom toolsets.
Give recommendations and requirements for tests to validate designs.

Job Requirements
Skill set needed:
Graduate/Post Graduate in Mechanical / Structural / Aerospace engineering
At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
Carry out stress, fatigue, thermal and vibration analyses.
Develop calibrated analytical procedures.
Software:
Proficiency in NX Nastran, Simcenter, ANSYS Workbench, StarCCM+, or similar software.
Knowledge CAD tools NX UG, Pro E or Similar software.
Added Advantage Programming: Python, MATLAB, ANSYS ACT/APDL.
Optimization Tools: Optistruct, iSight, or similar software.
