Responsible for design and development of magnetics and power components like transformers, inductive components and subsystems like TRU, ATRU, Power supplies etc for Aerospace and special applications.
Conceptualize, design and detail the components & LRU's for aerospace power system
Responsible for electrical & magnetic design and analysis using FEM tools and other analytical methods.
Responsible for manufacturing, build & test the proto of the product designed.
Responsible for transfer of technology to production team – Documentation for assembly process, work instructions, test procedures and test report.
Responsible to guide and help production team as required for any technical clarifications during production phase.
Responsible to train and lead the junior team as required.
Job Requirements
Knowledge & Skills:
Experience in design and development of magnetics - Power transformer (SMPS, auto transformer, high frequency/high power etc ), Signal transformers (audio, pulse etc.), current transformers, Planar transformers, coils, chokes, contactors, relays etc.
Experience in PCB design, Gerber generation, IPC standards is an added advantage
Expertise in analytical design and CAD design with FEM tools.
Experience in CAD and analysis tools for design.
Experience in creating new designs from scratch, proto development and testing.
Experience in performance and qualification testing for aerospace applications.
Experience in dealing with the new product development life cycle
Deep understanding and experience related to new product development process.
Innovative thinking for new technology developments.
