Description
Role & Responsibilities:
- Feasibility study / Conceptual designs for a New Product Design of Planetary Gearboxes for the range of Construction, Agricultural & Electric vehicles, Wind turbines, Marine and Offshore machines.
- Define & Develop a cost-effective specifications by understanding assembly & manufacturing processes (DFM'&DFA)
- 3D modelling & drafting of System, subsystem & components for manufacturing.
- Preparation & execution of EBOM & MBOM in PLM
- ECR/ECN activities as per the customer/supplier/internal needs, should be complete in stipulated time in PLM.
Job Requirements
Skill set:
- Experience with any of the following systems: Transmissions, Gearboxes, Planetary drives, Axles & Differentials.
- Feasibility study / Concept development for new Products (Transmission / Gearbox) for Construction/Mining/Agricultural Equipments and Industrial/Wind applications.
- Competency in bearing and shaft calculations, GD&T and Stack up calculations.
- Strong working experience in UG NX, 3D CAD modelling & drafting.
- Good readability of engineering drawings & Knowledge in GD&T.
- Knowledge about manufacturing process of Casting/Forging/Machining
- Working experience in Engineering Change Notice in PLM environment.
- Knowledge in Teamcenter would be an added advantage.
