Role & Responsibilities:

New Product Design of Gearboxes (Feasibility study / Conceptual designs) for a Industrial Precision Gearboxes, Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV), Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), Industrial Robots Gearbox.
Leading the projects right from Customer requirement analysis, Application analysis, Concept design and Product release.
Working closely with Global R&D teams, Cross functional teams of Bonfiglioli India and other global plants for new conceptual and VAVE initiatives.
Leading and growing the competency of the team, to drive the strategic organizational goals.
Responsibility for complete product release including manufacturing drawings & BOM to production in PLM system.
Project Planning & Product Planning for Global & Domestic Projects.
ECR/ECN activities as per the customer/supplier/internal needs, should be complete in stipulated time in PLM.

Job Requirements

Skill set:

Experience with any of the following systems: Powertrain, Transmissions, Gearboxes, Planetary drives, Axles & Differentials.
Define & develop a cost-effective specification by understanding manufacturing processes & assembly (DFM & DFA).
Working experience in ECR/ECN as per the customer/supplier/internal requirements.
Competency in Gear/Shaft/Bearing calculations, GD&T and Stack up analysis.
Experience in 3D CAD solid modelling/drafting of system, subsystem & components.
Desirable working experience in PLM systems to manage engineering drawings and documents.
Persuasive communication and Solid presentation skills.
