Description


  1. Enable the smooth operations of the People function by providing key administrative support, a 'customer centric' approach to employees and provision of key management information.

  2. Advise managers and colleagues on all key HR processes and policies at Janes.

  3. Support hiring – issue employment contracts and oversee key aspects of the on-boarding process including background checks and provide 'welcome packs' to all Janes new hires.

  4. Handle administration across the key facets of the colleague life-cycle with attention to Janes policies and to relevant legal obligations.

  5. Optimise the HR information system, run reports for HR and Leadership Team members that are informative and enable key decision-making.

  6. Support the reward system - i.e. administer agreed recognition and bonus programmes - and address the administration for the pay review process.

  7. Respond swiftly to employee questions, including pre-empting issues and ensuring Janes is on the front foot with regards to proactive communication.

  8. Periodic feedback and provide key insights on employee sentiments and pulse – check 'what’s on our people's minds'.

  9. Provide key information to payroll partners to ensure timely payment of employees.

  10. Focus will be on India and APAC regions.

 
Job Requirements

  6. Numeracy to deal with salary-related calculations and payroll information.

  7. Understanding of employment law and ability to learn new regulations quickly.

  8. Experience of working in a professional HR function ideally with international operations.

  9. Flexibility to effectively manage and prioritize a varied workload, using initiative with minimal direction to ensure deadlines are met.

  10. Computer literacy with competency in Microsoft Office packages, social media platforms and HR Information Systems.
